Girlfriend of Hagen Mills Faces ‘Long Road of Recovery’ After Alleged Shooting

Erica Price, who was allegedly shot by now-deceased boyfriend Hagen Mills, faces “a long road of recovery ahead of her.”

On Thursday, Mayfield, Kentucky resident Bailey Jones set up a GoFundMe page, which details the medical and financial challenges Price has endured after the alleged attempted murder-suicide.

“Erica Price was involved in an incident entirely out of her control and the results of that incident left Erica with injuries that needed immediate and ongoing medical treatment. Erica has a small child to support, as a single mother,” the petition reads. “She will likely accumulate a series of expensive medical bills, and at this point, it is unlikely she will return to work anytime soon.”

Because of Price’s presumed “expensive medical bills,” Jones is asking for donations that will help the 34-year-old mother in her recovery.

“If you are able to help financially, I know she would be forever grateful,” Jones concluded. “If you are unable to contribute financially, then please continue to send your prayer, as Erica has a long road of recovery ahead of her.”

As of this writing, the GoFundMe page has raised $6,897 — nearly $2,000 more than the goal.

On Tuesday, Mills — an actor who appeared on TV shows such as “Baskets” and “Swedish Dicks” — allegedly held his and Price’s 4-year-old daughter as well as Price’s mother hostage in his Kentucky residence.

When Price entered, Mills allegedly shot her in the arm and chest before turning the gun on himself.

When authorities arrived at the property, they met Price outside, who told them Mills was inside and had shot himself.

Price was transported to a local hospital and was listed in stable condition. Mills was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities say the motive for Mills’ alleged actions is not yet clear.
