Sunday on TikTok, the actress — who appeared in the 2007 film adaptation of “Hairspray” — publicly came out as gay.

After Blonsky’s video went viral, an overwhelming number of social media users applauded the “Huge” alum for her exciting announcement.

“A gay icon in 2007 and even more so now in 2020,” one Twitter user wrote.

“I’m so happy for you bb,” a different commenter posted.

“The best news to come out of this awful year!” another added.

Last May, Blonsky gushed to “E! News” about her romance with Dani, who was by her side at RuPaul’s DragCon in Los Angeles.

“I am the happiest I’ve ever been in my current relationship,” Blonsky told the news channel. “[I] am excited for the future, both personally and professionally.”

While it’s unclear if the two are still in a relationship, we applaud Nikki for living her best life!
