‘White Supremacist’ Tech CEO Goes on Racist Rant Against Asian Family

A man reportedly identified as Michael Lofthouse was filmed unleashing a racist rant against an Asian family at a restaurant in Carmel Valley, California.
In the shocking video posted Monday, Instagram user @jordanlizchan says the man — who is reportedly the founder and CEO of technology company Solid8 — “relentlessly harassed my family and I completely UNPROVOKED, UNWARRANTED, and UNCONSCIONABLE.”
“We were celebrating my tita's birthday, literally just singing happy birthday to her and taking pictures, when this white supremacist starts yelling disgusting racist remarks at us,” the Instagram user continued.
Prior to the recording of the video, the man allegedly told the family, “---- you Asians,” “Go back to whatever ------- Asian country you're from,” and “You don't belong here.”
In the clip, the man gives the family the middle finger and says, “Trump's gonna ---- you.”
After the man tells them, “You ------- need to leave, you ------- Asian piece of ----,” an employee of the restaurant intervenes and kicks him out of the establishment.
“You are not allowed. You do not talk to our guests like that. They are our valued guests,” the staff member exclaims to the man.

On Monday, @jordanlizchan was sent alleged screenshots of a conversation where Lofthouse threatened a social media user named “Ahmed Omer” who stood up for the Asian family.
“Everyone is well aware of the situation that happened out in Monterey. You are a trash human being and you deserve every bad thing that happens to you,” Omer reportedly wrote to Lofthouse.
In response, Lofthouse reportedly wrote back, “Come near me or my people and u r ------- dead.”

According to the International Business Times, Lofthouse is believed to be an immigrant from the U.K. and reportedly has an Asian sister-in-law and a half-Asian niece.
Per TMZ, Lofthouse has since deleted his social media accounts.
As of this writing, Solid8 has not commented on the controversy.
