Princess Love appears to have a change of heart regarding her divorce from husband Ray J.
Per court documents obtained by People on Monday, Princess filed a request of dismissal on July 6 at Los Angeles Superior Court.
The “Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood” star previously filed for divorce from the “Sexy Can I” singer back in May — just months after she delivered the couple’s son, Epik, in December 2019.
“It’s a very difficult time for both Princess and Ray J and we are asking that we just let them have their privacy as they work through and deal with this very trying situation,” a rep told People after the split news.
Later that month, however, Ray called Princess his “wife” at a virtual press conference.
“I’m back with the kids right now, so I’m just really excited about [the couple’s 2-year-old daughter Melody’s] birthday coming up this weekend,” he said about their co-parenting. “Over these past few months, though, I’ve been at the studio locked in. I was at the studio right around when everything got locked down. Before I came home, I had to quarantine for 14 days. My wife has been supermom, and she wasn’t having that, so she just wanted to make sure that I was good. We’re taking it one day at a time.”
Last November, Princess, who at the time was eight months pregnant with Epik, accused Ray of leaving her and Melody “stranded” in Las Vegas after they attended the BET Soul Train Music Awards.
Ray — the younger brother of Brandy and the first cousin of Snoop Dogg — later denied the claims, saying in an Instagram video that month, “I am my family. I love my family. I’ve dedicated my life to my family. To insinuate that I would do anything to harm my daughter was just sad, man.”
TMZ reported this February that the two had been living separately since their argument.
Ray and Princess tied the knot in August 2016 after dating on and off for years.
