New legal documents reveal more insight into Dr. Dre and estranged wife Nicole Young’s marriage.
Per TMZ on Wednesday, the rap mogul answered Young’s June divorce filing where it was revealed that the couple did have a prenuptial agreement prior to tying the knot on May 25, 1996.
Though sources connected to Young told the outlet last month that there was no prenup, that does not appear to be the case.
Per his answer filed by attorney Laura Wasser, the founder and CEO of Aftermath Entertainment and Beats Electronics says he is willing to pay Young child support per her request.
Though Young is also asking for a division of property, Dre says the distribution of such should be governed by their prenuptial agreement.
The hip-hop artist lists their date of separation as March 27, 2020.
Dre and Young share two adult children together: son Truice, 23, and daughter Truly, 19.
Dre is also dad to four other kids: daughters Tyra Young and La Tanya Danielle Young, as well as sons Marcel and Curtis, from previous relationships. Sadly, son Andre Young Jr. passed away in 2008 at age 20.
Young is a lawyer who was previously married to NBA player Sedale Threatt.
According to Forbes in June 2019, Dre’s estimated net worth is reported to be $800 million.
