Malika Haqq is spending lots of quality time with her 4-month-old son, Ace Flores!

In an interview with “E! News” published Thursday, the “Dash Dolls” star opens up about parenting amid the quarantine.

On March 14, the actress gave birth to her little one, whose father is rapper O.T. Genasis.

“I have found that quarantine is obviously quite different for everyone,” Haqq told the news channel. “Although I was always going to take a maternity leave, for like, you know, the first three months, four months of Ace’s life, I’m such a workaholic, it actually allowed me to just spend time with my son and not pay all that much attention to all of the outside noise.”

Though she admitted that it “has kind of sucked” to not have friends around, she is grateful that her family is happy and healthy.

“So quarantine, although it has been stressful and weird to not always have friends around and, you know, pictures and memories of your friend’s kids with your babies, that has kind of sucked for me,” she continued. “But other than that, like, I’m really thankful that my son is healthy. I’m really thankful that my family is healthy, and I have all these very fond and beautiful memories with my son.”

At her baby shower in February, Haqq confirmed that the MC — born Odis Oliver Flores — is the father of her baby boy.

“Whether you brought me lunch or called me or texted me…” she said in a clip posted on best friend Khloé Kardashian’s Instagram Stories. “I’m incredibly thankful to Odis Flores for my little boy.”

Days later, she wrote on Instagram that the two are not together but are committed to co-parenting their son.

“Relationships don’t always work out the way we would hope but between love & friendship we have created a baby boy that will be here very soon. I’ve been single the last 8 months but I am in no way alone. OT and I have attended every doctor’s apt and over all loved on our son together while anticipating his arrival,” she wrote.

The 36-year-old continued, “My priority over the past few months has been to nurture and protect my unborn child. Our baby would not be who he is without his father and I thank God for the spirit that grows inside of me. Only thing that matters, we are Baby Flores parents.”

Haqq previously announced her pregnancy last September.
