Rachel McAdams is expecting her second child.
On Friday, People reported that the star of “The Notebook” was spotted running errands in Los Angeles, where she displayed her baby bump in a silk peach-colored dress.
The 41-year-old actress accessorized her look with magenta Birkenstocks, sunglasses, and, of course, a face mask.
The leading lady and boyfriend Jamie Linden welcomed a son in April 2018.
In November 2018, McAdams told The Sunday Times that becoming a mom was the “greatest thing that’s ever happened to me, hands down.”
“[People say] your life is not your own anymore,” McAdams told the outlet. “But I had 39 years of me, I was sick of me, I was so happy to put the focus on some other person. I waited a long time [for motherhood].”
Recently, during a virtual appearance on Canada’s “Heroes of Health: COVID-19 Stream-a-thon” — where it was revealed that she donated $10,000 to support local healthcare workers on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic — McAdams spoke about her young son.
“I have a very welcome distraction through my son, who is 2,” she said. “So that’s what I do... all the time.”
“He’s so entertaining!” she added. “I thought about, ‘Would I rather be alone in quarantine? Or with my family?’ You know, there are days, sure, but I mean I would be so bored without him around to make it so fun.”
The “Mean Girls” alum also revealed that she and her family “live sort of out in the country” and look at animals nearby at a local farm.
“We’ve been doing some planting, some okra,” she continued. “Well, I mean, I do the planting and he snacks most of the day.”
Congratulations to Rachel on her baby news!
