Cardi B is ending her marriage to Offset.
On Tuesday, Hollywood Unlocked contacted the Fulton County Superior Court, which confirmed that the “WAP” rapper, née Belcalis Almanzar, has filed a divorce petition against the Migos group member, born Kiari Cephus.
Per the outlet, the filing notes that this is a contested divorce.
Later that day, TMZ reported that the female MC filed the documents on Tuesday, and is asking for primary physical custody as well as legal custody of their 2-year-old daughter, Kulture.
She also wants Offset to pay child support, though it is unclear how much she is asking for.
A few days ago, Cardi posted a cryptic quote on Instagram Story, possibly alluding to the split.
“Her heart finally told her to stop wasting her time,” it read, along with the caption, “It’s time.”
Though Offset publicly proposed to Cardi at a Philly Powerhouse concert in October 2017, the two secretly got married in September in their bedroom.
The couple welcomed their daughter the next year in July.
Sadly, the hip-hop couple has had their fair share of public scandals.
Last December, Offset was accused of direct messaging Tekashi 6ix9ine’s then-girlfriend Jade, and then trying to cover it up claiming his social media pages were hacked.
A year before, he was accused of allegedly expressing interest in rapper Cuban Doll, and a woman who goes by “Summer Bunni.”
Cardi and Offset’s split comes days before their third wedding anniversary.
