Less than two months after her filing, Cardi B is calling off her divorce from Offset.
On Monday, TMZ reported that the “WAP” rapper filed legal documents in Georgia seeking to officially dismiss the divorce.
The outlet adds that Cardi filed her dismissal “without prejudice” — which gives her the right to refile for divorce at a later date.
To formalize the dismissal, Cardi’s request will need to be signed off by a judge.
Of course, Cardi and Offset’s reconciliation is no surprise.
Last month on Instagram Story, Cardi confirmed that she got back with the Migos group member.
“Listen y’all, I’m just a crazy -----,” she explained to her social media followers. “You know how I be arguing with y’all on social media? That’s exactly how we are, between me and my man. So when people be saying I be doing ---- for attention, with this and that, no, I’m just a crazy -----.”
Cardi also said, “I just be starting to miss [him]… It’s hard not to talk to your best friend. It’s really hard not to talk to your best friend. And it’s really hard to have no ----.”
That same month, the couple — who share daughter Kulture, 2 — celebrated Cardi’s 28th birthday in Vegas, where she was seen on social media giving him a lap dance.
Days later, the two were seen hanging out again — this time at a club in Atlanta.
In her original divorce docs, filed at the Fulton County Superior Court, Cardi asked for primary physical custody and legal custody of their daughter, as well as child support.
However, she later amended her filing to seek joint custody and no longer ask for support.
Throughout their tumultuous relationship, Cardi and Offset have had a slew of high-profile cheating scandals.
Last December, Offset was accused of direct messaging Tekashi 6ix9ine’s then-girlfriend Jade, and then trying to cover it up by claiming his social media pages were hacked.
A year before, he was accused of allegedly expressing interest in musicians Cuban Doll and Summer Bunni.
Cardi has previously opened up about taking Offset back after his alleged cheating, telling Vogue in their January 2020 issue, “I believe in forgiveness. I prayed on it. Me and my husband, we prayed on it. We had priests come to us. And we just came to an understanding like, bro, it's really us against the world... For me, monogamy is the only way. I’ll beat your ass if you cheat on me.”
