Michael B. Jordan is People’s Sexiest Man Alive 2020!

Tuesday night, the magazine announced the exciting news while also releasing their cover featuring the handsome “Black Panther” actor.

After word broke, the Twitterverse immediately burst into celebration!

“Michael B. Jordan being named People’s Sexiest Man Alive is the only thing that’s made sense this year,” said one fan.

“Michael b Jordan is the sexiest man alive? Tell me something I don’t know,” wrote a commenter.

“They finally picked Michael Bae Jordan for #SexiestManAlive. It’s about time they get it right,” another added.

In an interview published Tuesday, the 33-year-old opened up about the prestigious honor.

"It's a cool feeling," he told the outlet. "You know, everybody always made that joke, like, ‘Mike, this is the one thing you’re probably not going to get.' But it’s a good club to be a part of."

Throughout his career, the actor has long championed diversity and inclusion in the entertainment industry.

In addition to being vocal about the Black Lives Matter movement and the 2020 presidential election, Jordan’s company, Outlier Society Productions, was the first to adopt an inclusion rider that mandates filmmakers to hire a diverse cast and crew.

"I think there’s a time and a place for everything," he said. "I’ve been picking my moments to make the most impact. We can all take action — big or small — to help create the change we want to see."

In his cover story, Jordan spoke out about his loving parents, Donna and Michael A., who “sacrificed so much to provide for my sister, brother and me”

"I'm just grateful,” he said. “Honestly it’s like they all have had such an impact on me and who I am and how I approach each day. Without that, a lot of things about me just wouldn’t be the same. So it all comes back to that foundation. I’m really thankful for that."

Though he has already established himself as an A-list actor, Jordan hopes "to be maybe directing a little more, acting less, producing a lot more,” in 10 years. He also hopes to one day start a family!

"Just growing, whatever the next evolution of me is," he said. "Hopefully a family by then, I’m going to throw that in the universe. I want to make an impact all over the world and not just through the roles that I play."
