Slimmed-down Action Bronson has his “eye on the prize”!

This week, Men’s Health published an interview with the “White Bronco” rapper, born Ariyan Arslani, who lost an astonishing 127 lbs. since the lockdown in March.

In the piece, the “----, That’s Delicious” host reveals he gets up at 4 a.m., drinks a protein shake, and eats a healthy breakfast of two eggs, three egg whites, one piece of sprouted rye bread, and an avocado.

The MC then drives a half hour to Impact Zone Fitness in Norwood, New Jersey, boxes for 45 minutes, and then has a session with trainer Dave Paladino.

“I’ve already got my work in while everyone else is snoozing,” he says, “putting in big gains, big protein, you know?”

Additionally, the musician is a fan of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workouts that train his entire body.

“Like 50-pound medicine-ball throws, you know, down a 50-yard track, throwing it as far as you can, all the way down the track and back.”

Noting that he “was born heavy. I was a heavy child,” Bronson says he weighed 400 lbs. at his heaviest.

“There was a lot of ---- like prediabetes, eczema, asthma, all kinds of ------- dumb stuff that I had given myself,” he revealed.

He also struggled with portion control, admitting, “If I made something that was a big, round dish, I would eat the big, round dish. I wouldn’t just have one piece.”

However, Bronson knew he had to make changes in his life after the birth of his son last year.

“You always want to be around for your family,” he said. “It wasn’t going to happen unless I made that decision myself, and, you know, it takes some soul-searching and some ---- to really bother you. Like something that really gets under your skin to make that change. That happened to me.”

Though Bronson says he has been “known to fall off the wagon,” he is taking his fitness journey “day-by-day.”

“If you’re blessed with abs and 5 percent body fat, you’re gonna be grinding to make that happen your whole life. You just have to realize that that’s what it is. You keep your eye on the prize and don’t let yourself fall down.”
