Celebrities including Lil Baby helped throw a special birthday party for George Floyd’s 7-year-old daughter Gianna.

Wednesday on Instagram Story, the “We Paid” rapper, born Dominique Jones, shared videos of the event, which was themed after the toy company L.O.L. Surprise!

Held at Atlanta’s Pink Hotel, the party featured numerous rooms where guests enjoyed a candy buffet, as well as manicures and pedicures.

However, based on social media footage, some guests did not wear face masks and it appeared that many did not engage in social distancing.

According to Forbes on Wednesday, planning for Gianna’s party began in July when Gianna visited family friends Ericka and William Platt, who own Restaurant Ten and Rosie’s Café.

Ericka and William, along with their and George’s friend NBA star Stephen Jackson, began brainstorming ideas for the young girl’s celebration.

Lil Baby — who released the protest song “The Bigger Picture” after Floyd’s May 25 death — funded the event.

“The song is really about supporting children who lost their parents to violence,” Ericka told the outlet. “Lil Baby decided to sponsor Gianna’s birthday party and has been very supportive. We are very grateful for that.”

Gianna’s mother, Roxie Washington, added, “This is a very difficult time for my daughter, so we’re very grateful that our extended family is creating such a special experience for Gianna on her first birthday without her father.”

In late May, George passed away after white police officer Derek Chauvin was caught on video pinning his knee on Floyd’s neck.

After Chauvin was arrested, he was charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. The next month, he received an additional charge of second-degree murder.

In October, Hennepin County Judge Peter Cahill dismissed Chauvin’s third-degree murder charge, but also denied a motion to dismiss the other, more serious murder charges.

In a June interview with “Good Morning America,” journalist Eva Pilgrim asked Gianna what she wants people to know about her dad.

“Kinda that I miss him,” Gianna replied.

When asked what her father was like, the young girl said her father “played with me.”
