LeToya Luckett and her husband of three years, Tommicus Walker, are going their separate ways.
Tuesday on Instagram, the former Destiny’s Child group member announced that she and her husband have decided to get a divorce — nearly four months after the birth of their son Tysun Wolf.
“After very prayerful consideration, Tommicus and I have decided to get a divorce,” the songstress said in a statement. “It is my deepest desire for us to be loving co-parents and keep a peaceful environment out of respect for our children. Please understand our need for privacy. Thank you in advance for your prayers, support & space to heal as we tread through this challenging time.”
Walker also posted a statement on his page, saying, “This was a very difficult decision.”
“We happily remain committed as caring friends with great love and respect for one another. We ask in advance for your kindness and sensitivity in the coming months.”
On Monday, Walker posted a touching photo of him and Luckett holding hands in what appears to be a desert.
“WE will walk through this journey as the BEST CO-PARENTS EVER,” he captioned the sweet pic. “Our kids will see & feel LOVE. Our foundation will never break!! I Will always love you LeToya.”
Back in September, the two welcomed baby Tysun, who weighed in at 9 lbs., 7 oz.
The couple, who tied the knot in December 2017, also share daughter Gianna Iman, 2. Walker has daughter Madison from a previous relationship.
