Charlie Balducci’s cause of death has been revealed.
On Monday, the New York City Medical Examiner’s Office told TMZ that the 44-year-old — who famously appeared on MTV’s “True Life: I’m Getting Married” — passed away in July from acute intoxication by the combined effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, and alprazolam. The manner of his death has been ruled accidental.
Last year, law enforcement sources told the outlet that Charlie was found unresponsive in his bed after he was reportedly last seen around 2 a.m. the previous morning.
TMZ also spoke with Charlie’s mom, who said her son did not exhibit any forms of illness and was happy to have his sons, Louis, 19, and CJ, 17.
In 2001, Charlie and wife Sabrina allowed cameras to document their wedding for the MTV docuseries.
In one infamous scene, Charlie unleashes an explosive rant on a limo driver who is late on his wedding day.
“I’ll hunt you down like cattle,” Charlie famously yelled to the limo driver on the phone.
According to The Post, Charlie and Sabrina had reportedly split at the time of his death.
He will be missed.
