Congratulations are in order for Romany Malco!

This week on Instagram, the 52-year-old star of “A Million Little Things” announced that he welcomed his first biological child, a baby boy named Brave, last month.

“His name is Brave,” the actor captioned an adorable photo of him embracing his bundle of joy. “He was born Jan 22, 2021 at 6:52 AM. Breech birth, and it all happened within a matter of 5 minutes.”

After witnessing Brave’s delivery, Malco “felt a deeper love for my life partner,” who has two kids of her own, an 11-year-old and a 17-year-old.

“She loves it when I call her my queen,” he said. “I find it more amusing to call her my baby momma. But the love I feel for her now is heightened, something new that I can’t yet describe.”

In his post, Malco explains that because of his “upbringing and psychological disposition,” it “feels right” for him to have a biological child later in life.

Additionally, he credits his stepchildren with preparing him for Brave’s birth.

“They have taught me unconditional love and they’ve rallied for Brave in unexpected ways. Now, seeing my genes expressed in this little man is fascinating to observe,” he wrote.

Now with three children in his life, the “Weeds” alum wants to be “present” for all of life’s special moments.

“I’m only concerned with consistently being present, responsible, nurturing, receptive, patient observant, supportive, honest and loving towards my family and the world. Same as always and hopefully improving with time.”

After Malco’s exciting news went viral, his famous friends congratulated him in the comments section.

“SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!! Congrats,” wrote Taraji P. Henson.

“WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTT,” exclaimed India.Arie.

“ROM!!!!!!! Im so happy for you!!!” added Gabrielle Union.
