Moneybagg Yo Apologizes for Bragging About Making Millions During Pandemic

Moneybagg Yo is under fire for comments he made about the COVID-19 pandemic.
On Monday, the “Time Today” rapper went on Twitter and bragged about making millions of dollars while the world is battling the coronavirus.
“Not gone lie I made a couple Ms in da pandemic, ion want it to end,” he wrote, adding, “I feel like the pandemic help a lot of people.”
Needless to say, an overwhelming number of social media users slammed the MC for his “insensitive” remarks.
“You should delete this. Extremely insensitive. A lot of people died! A lot of people are unemployed. A lot of healthcare workers are overworked. READ THE ------ ROOM!” one Twitter user wrote.
“And there are people who lost everything, be mindful of that. Selfish,” a commenter said.
“That's cool and all, but ppl are DYING! A lot of folks are tired burying their family… but, congrats on dem Ms!” another added sarcastically.
Later that day, the hip-hop artist issued an apology for his previous statements.
“I apologize to everybody I offended my comment was very insensitive it was not my intent to hurt anyone,” he wrote.
