Tami Roman speaks out after her home in Texas was destroyed by conditions caused by the winter storms.
In a series of Instagram videos reposted by The Shade Room on Thursday, the former “Basketball Wives” star, who is in Atlanta for a performance, gets emotional while discussing the damage.
“I’m sitting in my trailer, just trying to keep it together, because I know I got to go and perform today. Like everything is OK. Everything I’ve been working so hard for… just ripped away in an instant,” she said through tears.
“And I just wanted to offer prayers up for you and your situation and sending love and light your way,” she added to her followers. “Everybody just be strong.”
Wednesday on her page, the reality TV personality posted (and then deleted) a shocking video of the destruction, in which her floor is completely flooded with water.
“In Atlanta working & my house in Texas is destroyed,” she wrote in the caption.
Recently, millions of Texas residents have been without heat, water, and power due to severe winter storms. Many homes have also suffered frozen or burst pipes, which have caused great property damage.
According to The Hill as of Thursday afternoon, at least 36 people in Texas and other states have died in the past few days due to these conditions.
