Ne-Yo and Crystal Renay are expanding their family!
Over the weekend on Instagram, the “Miss Independent” singer posted a sexy video in which he caresses his wife’s burgeoning baby bump.
“Overjoyed to announce......the family is expanding...,” the hip-hop artist wrote.
Ne-Yo also included a boy emoji, possibly hinting that he and Renay are expecting a baby boy.
He also included the hashtags: #Number5, #5thandFinal, and #BlessingsOnBlessings.
Renay added on her page, “This is why I love you..”
The couple — who tied the knot in 2016 — already share two sons together: Roman Alexander-Raj, 2½, and Shaffer Chimere Jr., 5. Ne-Yo is also dad to son Mason Evan, 9, and daughter Madilyn Grace, 10, from a previous relationship.
In June 2020, Ne-Yo confirmed that he and Renay reconciled after he said they were getting a divorce four months earlier.
During an interview with “The Talk,” the musician said “the whole quarantine thing was kind of a blessing,” as it “allowed me the time to lock back in with” his wife and kids.
“The quarantine forced us to sit still, block out the noise from the world — you know the world can get very, very loud, and we tend to let the world’s opinion mean more in certain situations than it should,” he added.
Earlier this month, Ne-Yo spoke to People about how his children are big fans of his music.
“I know my kids love my music. I don’t know about any other entertainers and their kids, but my kids actually dig my music,” he dished.
“They’re actually the best people to get critiques on my music from because they’re not listening to it the way music people listen to music; they’re listening to whether they feel it or don’t,” he continued. “That’s very useful to me, so normally I’ll run a song by them, and if they like it, I know I’m going in the right direction.”
Congratulations to Ne-Yo and Crystal on their baby news!
