‘RHOA’ Alum Shereé Whitfield Reunites with BF After Prison Release

It appears Shereé Whitfield and Tyrone Gilliams have rekindled their flame!

On Wednesday, TMZ reports that Gilliams was released from prison in Kentucky last week due to COVID-19 concerns and has been spending time with the former star of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

The outlet says the two have been going out in Philadelphia and are enjoying the state’s famous cheesesteaks.

TMZ also says Whitfield has been helping Gilliams acclimate back into life by teaching him the latest technology.

The two dated briefly nearly a decade ago, until Gilliams was sentenced to 10 years in jail for wire fraud back in October 2013.

According to Reuters, Gilliams and his attorney Everette Scott were accused of stealing money from investors, including a scheme involving a purported investment in U.S. Treasury Strips.

Prosecutors ultimately charged the two with misappropriating much of the investors’ money for their own personal gain, including luxury cars, jewelry, and trips.

Whitfield and Gilliams reconnected around her birthday in 2016, and she began visiting him in prison.

In a January 2018 interview with Page Six, Whitfield described dating an incarcerated man as “very unconventional and something new for me.”

“The positives of dating an incarcerated man, for me, is I really feel like I got to know him on a deeper level. A lot of times relationships are built on physical and a lot of times they don’t work,” she said. “People don’t take the time to get to know each other, or communicate, or talk. We do all of that. We don’t have anything else to do but communicate.”

However, after Gilliams lost his appeal in 2018, they stopped seeing each other… until now.

While Gilliams tells TMZ he can see them getting married sometime in the future, he says he has no plans to propose just yet.
