Quavo & Saweetie Had Altercation in Elevator Prior to Breakup, Per Video

In a newly resurfaced video, Quavo and Saweetie had a nasty altercation in an elevator prior to their breakup.

On Tuesday, TMZ posted a shocking clip that shows the two rappers fighting at a North Hollywood apartment complex over what appears to be an orange “Call of Duty” case.

Per surveillance footage, Saweetie swings at Quavo before grabbing the case. Quavo then grabs Saweetie until she falls to the floor, making her drop the case.

As she’s on the elevator floor, Quavo stands over the case and does not tend to her possible injuries.

As the elevator doors open, a man stands outside but does not get in and the doors close.

The doors open again on a different floor and Quavo picks up the case and a black backpack. Saweetie eventually gets up off the floor and limps off.

The shocking video was also reposted by The Shade Room:

Sources on both sides tell TMZ that the incident occurred in 2020 at an apartment building where Saweetie was renting.

Earlier this month, Saweetie confirmed that the two had broken up and alludes that infidelity may have played a part.

“I’m single,” she wrote on Twitter. “I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character. Presents don’t band aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women.”

However, Quavo addressed the drama, writing that same day, “I know you want to make this into a show so I’ll play my part just this one time. I don’t normally put my business out there, especially my personal life. I feel the need to address this so there are no false narratives.”

“I had love for you and disappointed you did all that. You are not the woman I thought you were. I wish you nothing but the best,” he continued.

In response, Saweetie wrote back, “Take care.”

According to TMZ, the two first got together in 2018 after Quavo says he slid into Saweetie’s DMs.
