Tuesday on Instagram, twin brother Patrick revealed the heartbreaking news that Adam had died Sunday, April 11.
“being a twin is a very central part of my identity. it’s all i’ve known. and i’m struggling to find the words to explain what it will be like for me to live in this world without him. my best friend,” Patrick wrote in his tribute.
On Wednesday, the Los Angeles County Coroner also confirmed Adam’s death to “E! News” but did not disclose a cause of death.

The video amassed over 25 million loops before Vine shut down the next year.
Per his Instagram, Adam went on to study music composition at New York University and later worked as a business analyst specializing in data.
In honor of his brother, Patrick will release Adam’s album “Latch Relay” — the first release from Plas Teg Records — on limited edition vinyl.
Patrick also thanked fans for their support, writing, “In this time of mourning, I am comforted to know how many people he has touched. The kindest human in the world,” adding, “Thank you all for your kindness and understanding. It makes me feel loved.”
