Zendaya Voices Lola Bunny in New ‘Space Jam’ Ad! WATCH!

Get ready, “Space Jam” fans!
On Sunday, ESPN released a video parodying its own “30 for 30” series that features the stars of the highly anticipated “Space Jam: A New Legacy” — the sequel to the iconic 1996 live-action/animated sports film.
In addition to stars such as LeBron James, Bugs Bunny, and Daffy Duck, the ad features Lola Bunny, voiced by the insanely talented Zendaya!
In the hilarious clip, James calls Lola the “greatest sidekick ever,” a title that she isn’t crazy about “but will let it go because of LeBron.”
“When it’s crunch time, the ball is going to be in my paws,” Lola adds.
What if I told you ... that @KingJames and Bugs didn't exactly see eye to eye while on the Tune Squad 😬

Back in April, it was revealed that the “Euphoria” star was going to voice the anthropomorphic female rabbit in the upcoming film.
While speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the sequel’s director, Malcolm D. Lee, said he recently watched the original film and was concerned with how Lola was portrayed.
“Lola was not politically correct,” he said of the 1996 movie. “This is a kids’ movie, why is she in a crop top? It just felt unnecessary, but at the same time there’s a long history of that in cartoons.”
While seeking to “reflect the authenticity of strong, capable female characters,” Lee revealed that Lola would be reintroduced alongside the Amazons from the “Wonder Woman” comics.
“We reworked a lot of things, not only her look, like making sure she had an appropriate length on her shorts and was feminine without being objectified, but gave her a real voice,” he explained. “For us, it was, let’s ground her athletic prowess, her leadership skills, and make her as full a character as the others.”
“Space Jam: A New Legacy” premieres July 16 in theaters and on HBO Max.
