Brawl Breaks Out at McDonald’s After Staff Refuses to Mix 3 Slushie Flavors, Says Witness

A woman physically assaulted two employees at an Ohio McDonald’s after they reportedly refused to mix three slushie flavors together, says a witness.
Per an interview with witness Brian Allen, the man who recorded and posted the fight on Facebook, a woman, identified as Cherysse Helena Cleveland, reportedly became irate regarding her order at the Ravenna fast-food eatery Monday morning.
“I heard her ask for a slushie with all three flavors mixed into one,” Allen told WOIO. “Whereupon the manager informed her that they could not do that, and she became increasingly irritated and combative and decided that she would go behind the counter and fix her own drink.”
Allen says that after the parties exchanged words, he began filming the fight, which shows the woman getting physical with an employee and a manager.
At one point, the woman rips off the manager’s face mask, prompting the employee to say, “Don’t touch my boss again!”
“I was concerned that she may start hurting somebody. So, I started recording in case law enforcement needed the tape for any kind of evidence of the assault,” Allen said.
After the fight appears to have been dissolved, the woman goes to the beverage machine, fills a cup with ice, and then heads back behind the counter and throws the cup of ice at the employee.
The employee throws the woman to the ground and begins punching her. Though the manager tries to break up the fight again, the woman comes back and starts getting physical.
Eventually, a police officer shows up and places the woman in handcuffs.

WOIO reports that the woman was eventually charged with two counts of misdemeanor assault and appeared in court Tuesday, where she pleaded not guilty.
The judge ordered the woman not to return to the McDonalds’s location and to not have any contact with the victims. Her bond was set at $1,000 and her next court date is pending.
The outlet reports that on Tuesday, the location’s lobby was closed to customers.
Overall, Allen commends the employees for showing as much restraint as they did amid a difficult situation.
“If I was in their shoes, I wouldn’t have been able to show the restraint they did. You can see from the video that several times, not just once, she physically assaults and or pushes them. And they don’t do anything except for to try to protect themselves. And you can clearly hear the one employee trying to protect her boss as well. I think they both did outstanding jobs.”
He continued, “I don’t see anybody having to take abuse like that. I think the lesson is just to treat people the way that we want to be treated, and I don’t see that a lot in the world anymore.”
