Safaree Welcomes 2nd Child with Estranged Wife Erica Mena

Safaree and estranged wife Erica Mena have welcomed their second child together.
Monday on Instagram, the rapper announced the birth of his bundle of joy by posting an adorable photo of him cradling his infant.
“MR Straittt jr is here!!” the MC wrote, referencing his 2020 album.

Safaree also posted a cute Instagram Story of the baby, and joked, “Another me…. That’s all the world need.”
In February of this year, the couple — who got married on October 7, 2019, and welcomed daughter Safire months later on February 2, 2020 — announced they were expecting their second child together.
“God I thank you for the protection and all the consistent blessings,” Mena — who also shares son King with ex Raul Conde — said at the time. “I been through way to [sic] much to not be as grateful as I truly am.”
Months later in March, Mena filed for divorce from Safaree and asked for primary physical custody, child support, and exclusive use of the home they share.
In June, Safaree responded and asked for joint legal custody of their kids.
While he is open to Mena having exclusive use of the home they share, he wants to be removed from any liability involving the property through a refinancing of the mortgage and wants his share of equity.
Additionally, he is asking to maintain exclusive possession of their individual vehicles, and to be allowed to maintain all personal property acquired during the marriage.
He also wants the court to deny Mena alimony and for them to determine any child-support obligations.
Earlier this month, in a report published by TMZ, Mena said her divorce drama with Safaree is, in part, a reason why she was hospitalized during her pregnancy.
She also claimed her estranged husband has “failed to be involved in her care or to visit her at the hospital during her most recent stay, where she remained overnight for many days related to her pregnancy.”
It is unclear whether Safaree was in the delivery room when Mena gave birth.
