Don Cheadle & Bridgid Coulter Got Married During the Quarantine!

Surprise! Don Cheadle and longtime girlfriend Bridgid Coulter tied the knot during the quarantine!
While appearing on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Wednesday, the “Black Monday” actor confirmed the news to guest host Wanda Sykes.
“You texted me at the top of the year, I guess, and you told me that you just got married,” Sykes said. “And I was like, ‘Oh damn, the pandemic got to Don and Bridgid.’“
“I was like, ‘What the hell happened, man?’“ she continued to joke, adding. “I think I just texted something back, like, ‘Hey, if you’re happy, I’m happy for you.’... I was like, ‘Cheadle went Hollywood.’“
Though Sykes admits she wasn’t aware that Cheadle and Coulter weren’t already married, Cheadle understood why she came to that conclusion.
“Yeah, I mean, that’s understandable given that we’ve been together 28 years before we got married,” Cheadle said. “I hold you blameless.”
The couple — who appeared in “Rosewood” together — share two daughters, Ayana and Imani.
During the interview, Cheadle also revealed that he was able to stay in shape amid the pandemic with help from his famous friends!
“During the pandemic, when this whole thing started, I started doing push-ups and sit-ups and planks and texting,” he said. “I’m on this text chain with DL Hughley and Anthony Anderson and Cedric the Entertainer and George Lopez and Chris [Spencer].”
“And it was just to stay accountable to each other so we didn’t get the COVID-19 pounds during the pandemic,” he added.
Congratulations to Don and Bridgid on your nuptials!
