Shereé Whitfield In Talks to Rejoin ‘RHOA’!

It’s time to put on your She by Shereé joggers!
On Monday, TMZ reported that Shereé Whitfield — who was a full-time cast member on “Real Housewives of Atlanta” from Seasons 1 to 4 as well as Seasons 9 and 10 — is in talks to rejoin the hit Bravo franchise.
While sources close to production say the reality TV personality has been communicating with producers, the outlet says she is only interested in returning IF she is made a Housewife.
Additionally, TMZ says Whitfield — who was a “Friend” on Season 8 and a guest on Season 13 — is not 100 percent committed, which was erroneously reported by other outlets.
Insiders also say that if Whitfield returns, her relationship with Tyrone Gilliams will be a major storyline.
Back in February, TMZ reported that the two were spending time together since he was released from prison due to COVID-19 concerns.
Whitfield and Gilliams dated briefly nearly a decade ago, until Gilliams was sentenced to 10 years in jail for wire fraud back in October 2013.
According to Reuters, Gilliams and his attorney Everette Scott were accused of stealing money from investors, including a scheme involving a purported investment in U.S. Treasury STRIPS.
Prosecutors ultimately charged the two with misappropriating much of the investors’ money for their own personal gain, including luxury cars, jewelry, and trips.
Whitfield and Gilliams reconnected around her birthday in 2016, and she began visiting him in prison.
In a January 2018 interview with Page Six, Whitfield described dating an incarcerated man as “very unconventional and something new for me.”
“The positives of dating an incarcerated man, for me, is I really feel like I got to know him on a deeper level. A lot of times relationships are built on physical and a lot of times they don’t work,” she said at the time. “People don’t take the time to get to know each other, or communicate, or talk. We do all of that. We don’t have anything else to do but communicate.”
TMZ reports that Gilliams is currently in Philadelphia in home confinement.
