Woman Comes Out as Exotic Dancer to Parents with PowerPoint Presentation!

A woman reveals to her parents that she works as an exotic dancer with an extremely detailed PowerPoint presentation!
This week, TikTok user @mildwestsami posted a video in which her sister @lex1898 presents the pitch on a television screen titled, “Today I reveal to you a secret.”
Prior to the reveal, the woman begins her speech, saying, “Before you start worrying, or get excited, this secret pertains to my life, doesn’t affect anyone… What the secret does mean: I’m talented, I’m cool, I’m powerful. What the secret does not mean: I’m pregnant or in danger.”
That’s when she tells her parents that she pole dances in a club, adding, “And I love it.”
While noting that she works in a “sex-positive environment” where “she can express herself freely,” the woman confirms that her place of employment is safe and devoid of shady business practices.
Additionally, she confirms that she makes enough money to fund her current lifestyle, and that she is not engaging in other forms of sex work.
“No, I do pay my taxes,” she said in response to potential assumptions about making “under the table” money.
Following the presentation, the woman’s parents appear to be visibly supportive and had no follow-up questions.
Her father even said, “It just adds more color to the flavor of the family.”
The women’s sister wrote on her page, “Jokes aside our parents are the literal best, my mom said ‘I’m surprised how proud I am.’”
After the video went viral, an overwhelming number of social media users applauded the women’s frankness as well as her “impressive” presentation.
“The powerpoint was so concise and informative i love it,” wrote one TikTok user.
“Omg and they didn’t even interrupt after the big reveal I love them,” another added about her parents.
In a follow-up comment, @lex1898 said her father was mainly concerned about how much money she was making, adding that her parents are “seriously the best.”
“For anyone wondering, my dad’s only question was how much money you makin… they’re seriously the best and earned the trust and respect we share,” she wrote.
