Queen Naija Details Scary Encounter with ‘Weird’ Man at Eatery!

Queen Naija is considering applying for a gun license after an encounter with a “weird” man at a restaurant.
Tuesday on Twitter, the “Medicine” singer described the incident in which she says she was approached by a male while getting her food order, presumably at a drive-thru eatery.
Per her tweet, the man went up to her car window and made a comment about her clothing.
“‘Orange sweater… I noticed your shoes matched your sweater!’” the man apparently told the musician.
I’m waiting on a food order and he walks right up to my window while it’s down & says “orange sweater..I noticed your shoes matched your sweater!” Like WTH

In another tweet, Naija says this is “the second time a man has walked up to me & gotten in my space to make weird conversation” — which is making her consider getting armed.
“I hate that I automatically get nervous because of the stories of women who rejected someone & got killed. WHEW!!” she explained, later adding, “It’s crazy how dangerous it is to be a woman.”

After The Shade Room reported about Naija’s tweets, some social media users discredited her story, believing she was exaggerating the man’s actions.
In response, Naija wrote in the comments section, “He was an older strange man. He didn’t leave my window. He kept staring at me. He asked me to pull off my mask. He was also making weird hand motions and fidgety. Stop assuming people exaggerating.”
Additionally, other celebs chimed in on the matter.
“She don’t need a gun she needs full time security,” wrote comedian and recording artist Lil Duval.
“Yeah it’s scary out here! Every woman should have a gun!” commented singer/songwriter Asia'h Epperson.
On Wednesday, Naija received a flood of messages from fans who detailed similar experiences with strangers.
In response, she says the world needs to treat these situations more seriously, as “this happens too often for y’all to belittle it.”
I’m looking at all these quoted tweets & it’s sad how many of us have been made uncomfortable or harrassed by strangers. It’s not about being a celeb & having “security” what about the women who aren’t celebs. This happens too often for y’all to belittle it. https://t.co/PzGb5x6BA4
