‘Ex on the Beach’ Star Chris Pearson Passes Away at 25 from Stabbing

Chris Pearson, a DJ who appeared on Season 1 of the MTV reality show “Ex on the Beach,” has passed away at age 25 from a stabbing.
On Monday, TMZ reported that the television personality died over the weekend after he got into an altercation Sunday in Los Angeles at around 2 a.m. After allegedly getting stabbed by another person, Pearson was transported to a hospital but died around 3:30 a.m. from his injuries.
A representative from the Los Angeles Police Department also told Deadline that Pearson “became involved in a verbal argument with the suspect” who allegedly “fled to an unknown location” after using a weapon.
On Tuesday, sources told TMZ that the fatal incident happened as a result of a noise complaint between Pearson and his neighbor.
Allegedly, Pearson was yelling in the pool area with his girlfriend early Sunday when he received backlash from other residents.
After Pearson allegedly ignored their complaints, he then got into a screaming match with a neighbor on a balcony.
When Pearson went inside the building to confront the neighbor, he was then allegedly stabbed near his heart.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that cops are investigating and looking for witnesses. While no arrests have been made, officials are confident they will catch the suspect.
In a GoFundMe created Monday, organizer Veronica Garcia remembered Pearson as “the one person that loved with his whole heart.”
“He had so much love and energy to give to every single person he crossed paths with. He wouldn’t leave the room until he made sure every single person was happy. Chris was the most determined person there could ever be. He had a dream, set a goal & didn’t stop until he achieved that goal. It didn’t matter what or who he lost on the way, he made sure he had his eye on one thing and one thing only. His smile lit up an entire room,” Garcia wrote.
Garcia also said the funds raised will go directly to Pearson’s grandfather David Gutierrez for funeral expenses.
As of this writing, the page has raised over $5K out of its $30K goal.
Our condolences go out to Chris’ family and loved ones for their loss.
