Zayn Malik Pleads No Contest After Allegedly Shoving Ex-GF Gigi Hadid’s Mom Yolanda

Zayn Malik has pleaded no contest to multiple criminal offenses of harassment after engaging in an alleged argument between his then-girlfriend Gigi Hadid and her mother Yolanda.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ on Friday, the former One Direction band member got into an argument with Gigi and Yolanda, in which he allegedly yelled insults at Yolanda and told her to “stay away from [my] ------- daughter,” referencing his and Gigi’s 13-month-old infant Khai.
The papers allege the singer “shoved [Yolanda] into a dresser causing mental anguish and physical pain.”
Allegedly, Zayn also screamed at Gigi, telling her to “strap on some ------- ----- and defend your partner against your ------- mother in my house.” Sources told TMZ that Zayn allegedly told her this during a phone call while she was in Paris.
The documents also state that Zayn allegedly screamed at security guard John McMahon, “Get the ---- out of my ------- house, copper,” and tried to fight him.
Overall, Zayn was charged with four criminal offenses of harassment. While one official document says he pleaded guilty to one charge, court officials told TMZ he pleaded no contest.
In addition to being fined, Zayn is on 90 days probation for each count, totaling 360 days. He also must complete an anger management class and a domestic violence program. Additionally, he must have no contact with Yolanda or the security guard.
Assuming all conditions are satisfied after six months, the judge could terminate his probation.
In a statement to TMZ posted Thursday, Zayn denied assaulting Yolanda, telling the outlet, “I adamantly deny striking Yolanda Hadid and for the sake of my daughter I decline to give any further details and I hope that Yolanda will reconsider her false allegations and move towards healing these family issues in private.”
He also posted a message on Twitter, saying he chose to speak out about the situation because it was “‘leaked’ to the press.”

A source told People that the singer “didn’t slap Yolanda,” but allegedly placed her in “an aggressive hold.”
“Yolanda cannot stand him,” the insider added.
On Thursday, multiple sources confirmed to People that Zayn and Gigi had broken up.
“They are not together right now. They are both good parents, though,” a Hadid family friend told the magazine. “They co-parent. Yolanda is of course very protective of Gigi. She wants the best for her daughter and grandchild.”
Additionally, a representative for Gigi told outlets, “Gigi is solely focused on the best for Khai. She asks for privacy during this time.”
Despite the supposed drama between them, a source close to Malik told People on Friday that Zayn and Gigi are “not fighting.”
“Zayn’s an amazing dad, and Gigi has said so. They are not fighting,” the insider said. “They are actively and amicably working to find the best way to co-parent now. Yolanda is inserting herself into a situation that does not involve her.”
