Father of 7 Nick Cannon Responds to Saweetie’s Tweet About Wanting Babies!

Saweetie has baby on the brain — and father of seven Nick Cannon might too!
On Sunday, the “My Type” rapper, who split from ex-boyfriend Quavo in March, told her 1.9 million Twitter followers that she has thoughts about becoming pregnant.
“I want some babies,” the MC wrote without additional context.
Hours later, Cannon — who, in the past year, welcomed daughter Powerful with Brittany Bell, sons Zillion and Zion with Abby De La Rosa, and son Zen with Alyssa Scott — responded to the tweet with several emojis, including a hand-raising icon.

After Cannon’s message went viral, an overwhelming number of social media users cracked jokes about the situation.
“Run Saweetie run!!” one Twitter user said.
“boy you got [too] many already,” another wrote.
Our very own Loni Love commented on the matter, writing on Instagram, “Lawwwd…. Here comes Fertile Myrtle….”

Last month, Cannon appeared on the “Drink Champs” podcast and told hosts N.O.R.E. & DJ EFN that he is trying to remain celibate — at least until the new year.
“I’m trying to chill out, though. I’m chilling out. I’m kinda stepping away, getting focused, going within, getting my celibacy on,” he said. “I have enough children, enough frolicking. I’m good right now... I’m trying. I didn’t say I’m perfect.”
Cannon added, “I love all my kids.”
Despite this, Cannon has previously defended his decision to have seven children with four different women.
While appearing on “The Breakfast Club” in August, Cannon said he doesn’t “subscribe” to monogamy, adding, “Those women, all women, are the ones that open themselves up and say, ‘I would like to allow this man in my world. And I will birth this child.’ It ain’t my decision. I’m following suit.”
Additionally, Cannon says all of his kids’ mothers “know how [he] feel[s]” about monogamy.
“I’m not going around like, ‘Who am I gonna impregnate next?’” he joked. “Nah. It’s usually scenarios. When you look at a family structure, the woman is always the one who leads and makes decisions.”
In addition to sharing son Golden, 4, with Bell, Cannon is also dad to 10-year-old twins, son Moroccan and daughter Monroe, with ex-wife Mariah Carey.
