DaniLeigh Charged with 2 Counts of Simple Assault After Allegedly Striking DaBaby

DaniLeigh has been charged after she and the father of her child DaBaby engaged in a highly publicized social media feud.
On Monday, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department told TMZ that the singer has been charged with two counts of simple assault after allegedly striking the rapper on Sunday night and again on Monday morning.
Per the outlet, the alleged attack on Sunday night came around the time DaBaby went on Instagram Live and appeared to kick DaniLeigh out of their house as she was seen feeding their daughter, born in August, in bed.

TMZ says that cops arrived at the house that night — which was seen on an Instagram video shot by DaniLeigh — but did not make an arrest.

On Monday around 9:30 a.m., cops came back to the house in response to DaBaby’s second allegation of domestic abuse.
The outlet says that this time, officials found enough evidence to cite DaniLeigh for two misdemeanor assaults.
In a statement posted to Instagram Sunday, DaniLeigh claims DaBaby got “mad” because she sent him a package of Plan B, a pill that can prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex or after another birth control method fails, seemingly to insult his parenting skills.
She also said that after the two lived with each other for three months, since their daughter was born, he came in the house that day and asked her to leave.
“BC all he wanna do is --- in me with no responsibility…obviously…he prob want me out so he can ---- on his baby mother and other ----, who been known we been together this whole time. While I just had my first child…” she wrote.
“This all goes to say that this man is a ------- coward!!! I’m sleeping after cooking him dinner and he wanna say I needa go! ---- u baby!!! And damn I really shoulda jus listened to the cap --- internet about this man!!! Ima learn and Ima grow…”
