Former NBA Player Jalen Rose Has Filed for Divorce!

Jalen Rose and Molly Qerim are calling it quits!
On Wednesday, TMZ reported that the basketball player turned sports analyst has filed for divorce from the ESPN host after two years of marriage.
Sources also told the outlet that the breakup was amicable and both sides remain cordial.
The former NBA star — who played for teams including the Phoenix Suns and the New York Knicks — filed documents on April 30th of this year.
Per the papers, Rose says their marriage began to fall apart after Qerim moved to Connecticut.
Rose, however, does not want alimony and has requested that Qerim should not be granted it either.
TMZ reports that the two did not have a prenup and Qerim is not requesting spousal support.
Rose filed the documents just months after the pair starred in a Gatorade commercial where the two are doing a variety of workouts and playing sports including football and basketball.

In response to these reports, Rose released a statement Wednesday confirming that he and Qerim have been separated for almost a year.
“Molly and I have officially decided to go our separate ways. We both agree remaining friends and colleagues is the best course of action for our relationship moving forward,” it read, referencing their employment at ESPN. “Please respect our privacy at this time.”
