Megan Thee Stallion has just “Savage”-ly graduated from college!
On Saturday, the “WAP” rapper graduated from Texas Southern University with a bachelor of science degree in health administration.
“Good morning hotties!!! It’s graduation dayyyy,” she wrote on Twitter with the hashtag “#MeganTheeGraduate.”
While walking the stage in her cap and gown, the Grammy winner received her diploma while shaking hands with the university’s president, Dr. Lesia Crumpton-Young.

According to TMZ, Megan began her studies at Prairie View A&M in 2013 and then transferred to TSU. However, as her rap career took off, she began taking online classes.
During a February appearance on “Ellen,” Megan explained that she initially went to college to become a nurse but soon realized, “This is not for me.”
After switching majors to health administration, Megan became “an honor-roll student” and “a Dean’s List student.”
In the future, the musician hopes to use her degree to open an assisted-living facility — a pursuit that was inspired by her grandmother, who helped raised her.
“And I just watched my grandmother take care of my great-grandmother, and it really inspired me to want to have my own assisted-living facility,” she added. “So I’m gonna get my degree and make my grandma proud.”
Just a day after receiving her diploma, the MC was also honored with a humanitarian award from her hometown of Houston!
While presenting Megan with the award, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee said, “This award has not been given out often, [nor has it] been given out to many. That is why it remains a very special part of our congressional district. When this award is given, it has that special promise and special history.”
Noting that she has “exhibited humanity,” Lee praised Megan as “an outstanding young woman who has demonstrated courage, brilliance, a deep commitment to hard work and compassion for others throughout her public life.”
After accepting the award, Megan gave a speech thanking friends and family members — including her beloved grandmother.
“My grandma always taught me to be kind and giving. I learned that from her… I’ve only been raised by very giving women,” she said. “So I definitely want to dedicate this award to her too, because she taught me how to be the woman I am today.”
Congratulations to Megan on your well-deserved honors!
