Pizza Hut Employee Reportedly Calls Cops on Customer After Refusing to Believe She Already Paid

A Pizza Hut staff member has gone viral after he was seen on video allegedly calling the cops on a customer after he refused to believe she had already paid for her food order.
Last week, the customer, known as @deaishamariee on TikTok, posted a clip that shows her confrontation with the employee.
“Pizza Hut worker calls the police on me to have me removed for not wanting to pay him another $34 when I already paid #pizzahut #horriblecustomerservice #ridiculous,” she captioned the video.
In the clip, the male employee, allegedly on the phone with authorities, says in his call, “I have a customer here that claims that she paid online.”
“With a customer service representative. Gave him my card number,” the customer interjected.
The staffer then walks away from the counter.
“Like, how is this my fault?” the customer added. “How am I refusing to pay? I already paid. He was rude when I came up in here.”
In the comments, the customer claims she “waited over an hour for them to deliver. I called to ask how much longer for that & was told 2 more hours. So I just went [and] picked it up.”
As seen in the video, a different employee then hands the customer her order.
“That’s mine,” she said. “That I paid for, and he’s not giving [me] my food. Thank you. You have a good day, sir. I paid for it.”
Immediately after the clip went viral, social media users praised the customer for her cool and calm demeanor amid the ordeal.
“And you are adorably sweet the way you handled it, [it] was so classy!!!! We need more women like you in our society!!!” a TikTok user said.
“You were so sweet. God bless you,” a commenter wrote.
“And u were sweet as pie ! Good job my love,” another added.
The customer said in the comments section that she made a complaint to corporate that same night.
