3 Women, Including 1 Holding Baby, Allegedly Rob Beauty Supply Store in Florida

Three women, including one who was seen holding a baby, are being accused of robbing a Florida beauty supply store as well as assaulting one of its employees.
On Monday, the Instagram account for The Beauty Plug, a store in Tamarac, Florida, released pictures from surveillance video that show three women, including one with an infant and another who appeared to be heavily pregnant, coming into the location on Sunday evening.
In the caption, the store owner said the suspects allegedly stole multiple lace wigs, and even pepper-sprayed an employee, the owner’s daughter.
“Tonight we experienced a horrific event. 3 girls came into our store [and] attacked my daughter with pepper spray and stole multiple lace wigs. I cannot believe this. If you recognize any of them PLEASE contact us,” the caption read.
“One was very pregnant and the other was holding a baby that [was] approx. 6-8 months. Video will be released soon. My daughter is recovering ok.”

As reported by The Shade Room, the owner also released a message on Instagram Story slamming the women for their alleged actions.
“I hope those wigs were worth it because once you decided to pepper spray my child, you turn a simple petty theft into robbery w/assault & battery and because you had that baby with you, you’ll be charged on that too,” the owner wrote. “Sad that you’re about to lose your children and freedom over some wigs. Dumb low-life.”
As of this writing, the video has not been released. The pictures released do not appear to show a clear robbery or assault.
As reported by Local10, on Monday afternoon, a Broward Sheriff’s Office detective came to the store and spoke to the owner. The outlet reports that the detective spent hours going over the surveillance video.
Local10 adds that authorities have launched an investigation.
Anyone with information on the alleged crime is urged to contact Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
