Nene Leakes Is Reportedly Dating Again After Husband Gregg’s Passing

Nene Leakes is reportedly seeing someone after losing her husband Gregg to colon cancer in September.
On Wednesday, sources told TMZ that the former star of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” is dating a businessman named Nyonisela Sioh, who owns a couture suit company in Charlotte, North Carolina, and hails from Liberia.
The insiders also told the outlet that it was Peter Thomas — the ex-husband of Nene’s former “RHOA” co-star Cynthia Bailey — who set the two up.
Though it is unclear how long Nene and Nyonisela have been dating, the two were spotted at her recent birthday bash held at the Linnethia Lounge in Duluth, Georgia.
On Wednesday, Nene posted pics from her celebration, including a snap where she poses and wraps her arm around Nyonisela — dressed in a fashionable purple suit.
“This year I didn’t want to celebrate my birthday in a big way! I just wanted to chill [with] a few [loved] ones but my fam would NOT let it be that way! My son [Brentt Leakes] decided to throw me a surprise birthday party! This is the first party he has ever thrown me! He did so GOOD!” she wrote in the caption.

Last month, Nene appeared on our show and revealed what she misses most about Gregg.
“I miss Gregg every day. I miss his touch. I miss being able to go to Gregg for advice. We all call him our problem solver,” she told our hosts Loni and Garcelle.
Nene also noted that Gregg “wanted me to be happy. He wanted me to continue on. He wanted me to love his children.”
Nene first announced Gregg’s stage III colon cancer diagnosis on Instagram in June 2018. The next year in May 2019, she said a PET scan showed that Gregg was cancer-free after completing chemotherapy.
Sadly, in June of this year, Nene revealed that Gregg’s cancer had returned after two years in remission.
In an interview with People shortly after Gregg’s passing, Nene opened up about their final moments together, including some of his last words to her.
“The last five days before his passing was really beautiful. All of his children were there. His best friends were there. Our closest friends were there. We all sat with him around the clock,” she told the outlet, adding, “We talked a lot, and we made peace with what was happening.”
Among Gregg’s last words, Nene revealed that he told her, "I'm not going to leave you. God is going to bless you."
"He said he wanted me to move on with my life,” she added.
