Celebs React to Bob Saget’s Death

Friends, family and colleagues are paying tribute to Bob Saget after the comedian passed away Sunday at the age of 65.
Over the weekend, TMZ reported that the actor — famously known for playing Danny Tanner in the sitcom “Full House” — was found unresponsive in a hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Per the outlet, the Sheriff's Department and the fire department responded to the hotel around 4 p.m. EST. after hotel security had found Saget in the room.
The Orange County Sheriff's Office later told TMZ, "We have no information on cause of death, and detectives have found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case."
“The Medical Examiner’s Office will make the final call on the cause and manner of death,” officials added.
Saget was on tour and had performed at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, on Saturday night.
Hours before his body was found on Sunday, his official Twitter account published a tweet thanking the audience who came to his set.

After news of Saget’s death broke, numerous celebrities — including many of his “Full House” co-stars — released statements honoring his memory.
“I am broken. I am gutted. I am in complete and utter shock. I will never ever have another friend like him. I love you so much Bobby,” tweeted John Stamos, who played Jesse Katsopolis on the comedy.
“I don’t know what to say. I have no words. Bob was one of the best humans beings I’ve ever known in my life. I loved him so much,” said Candace Cameron Bure, who played Saget’s daughter on “Full House.”
“Bob was the most loving, compassionate and generous man. We are deeply saddened that he is no longer with us but know that he will continue to be by our side to guide us as gracefully as he always has,” said Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen, who both played Michelle Tanner, in a statement.
On Monday, TMZ reported that Saget spoke last week about his recent COVID-19 infection on the "A Corporate Time with Tom & Dan" podcast — reportedly recorded just after the New Year.
Though he did not reveal when he tested positive, Saget said he was unsure whether he contracted the omicron or delta variant.
In addition to “Full House,” Saget was host of "America's Funniest Home Videos” from 1989 to 1997, had a recurring role on the HBO comedy “Entourage,” and was the narrator's voice on “How I Met Your Mother.”
Saget is survived by his wife, Kelly Rizzo, and three children. He will be missed.
