Cardi B Testifies She Was ‘Extremely Suicidal’ After Allegations from Blogger Tasha K

Cardi B has testified in her libel suit against Tasha K over allegations that the blogger made in past YouTube videos.
On Thursday, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper opened up in court about how Tasha K aka LaTasha Kebe — who made a number of allegations in 2018 and 2019, including that the MC had sexually transmitted diseases and that her daughter Kulture, now 3, might be born with intellectual disabilities — has impacted her life.
"I felt extremely suicidal," Cardi was quoted as saying via Billboard, adding that she also felt "helpless."
TMZ also quoted her as saying, "I felt defeated and depressed and I didn't want to sleep with my husband."
"I didn't deserve my kid,” she reportedly continued.
Overall, Cardi says Tasha’s allegations caused her to suffer fatigue, weight loss, migraines, and anxiety.
"Only an evil person could do that ----," Cardi was quoted saying. She also reportedly apologized to the judge for using profanity.
As reported by TMZ, Cardi filed her lawsuit in 2019 against Tasha K as well as Starmarie Ebony Jones, who reportedly alleged in a video that Cardi did drugs and engaged in prostitution.
"Kebe became obsessed with slandering and harassing [Cardi]. In the 16 months preceding the filing of this lawsuit, Kebe put out at least 38 videos regarding [the rapper]," the lawsuit alleges.
The outlet reports that Tasha K and Starmarie made a video together where they made more allegations of Cardi having STDs and being a prostitute.
In her suit, Cardi denies ever being a prostitute, using cocaine and molly, and having herpes. While she said that she gave both women a chance to retract their statements, they reportedly refused to do so.
Per People, Tasha K has denied any wrongdoing and attempted to file her own lawsuit against Cardi for assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress, alleging that Cardi "began to publicly trash" her on the internet, resulting in her allegedly being threatened.
However, Rolling Stone reports that Judge William M. Ray II dismissed Tasha K's allegations in July.
"Kebe has failed to produce any evidence that plaintiff herself threatened Kebe or made her believe that she was going to harm her," he determined.
Cardi is scheduled to be cross-examined by Tasha K's lawyers on Thursday.
