Kanye West Under Investigation for Allegedly Punching Fan!

Kanye West has been named a suspect in an alleged physical altercation between him and a fan in downtown Los Angeles on Thursday morning.
As reported by FOX 11 on Thursday, the “Yeezus” rapper was leaving Soho Warehouse when a man allegedly walked up to his car and asked him for an autograph.
Following an interaction, the MC allegedly jumped out of his car and punched the fan, reportedly knocking him to the ground. West then left the scene.
A source for the Los Angeles Police Department told People that a battery report “was taken at 3 a.m. and the incident occurred at Santa Fe and Bay street.”
“No arrests have been made and it’s being investigated by our Newton division,” the source continued.
An insider also told TMZ that the case is being investigated as a misdemeanor battery, a crime that carries a maximum jail sentence of six months.
On Thursday, TMZ obtained a video following the alleged attack where a man, who may be the victim, was seen laying out on the street.
Prior to the alleged attack, West reportedly asked a small group of people outside the building not to take photos and made a comment about them not understanding what he’s currently going through.
Sources say the video began seconds after West’s alleged punches, which insiders say struck the guy in the head and in the neck.
In the footage, West screams, “Get away from me” at a woman who is desperately trying to calm him down.
The woman, who TMZ says is West’s cousin, also says, “I am your family.”
The outlet adds that the alleged victim refused medical treatment at the scene, but then reportedly got checked out at an urgent care center.
Back in 2014, West was arrested after allegedly assaulting a photographer at Los Angeles International Airport. He was later sentenced to 250 hours of community service, two years of probation, and 24 anger management sessions.
Prior to this, in 2008, West was arrested for vandalism and battery over an altercation with photographers at the same airport in which he allegedly damaged a camera. He was later released on $20,000 bail.
