Nelly Apologizes for Leaked Sex Tape!

Nelly has issued an apology after an explicit video was posted to his social media account.
On Tuesday, the “Country Grammar” rapper became a trending topic on Twitter after the video — which shows him receiving oral intercourse from an unidentified woman — was posted and then deleted on Instagram Story.
Despite it getting deleted, the clip circulated around the Internet and was the subject of online scrutiny.
In a statement to TMZ on Tuesday, the MC said, “I sincerely apologize to the young lady and her family, this is unwanted publicity for her/them. This was an old video that was private and never meant to go public.”
As to how it ended up on Nelly’s IG account, his team told TMZ that they are investigating the matter, which may have been a breach in security.
Nelly is also concerned that more of his private content — such as financial information and passwords — may also have ended up online.
Last July, Nelly’s longtime girlfriend Shantel Jackson revealed they were no longer together while responding to a fan on IG.
After the fan asked, “R u [and] Nelly still together? I love seeing u guys together,” she answered, “No we’re not….. Just friends.”
Months later, Shantel appeared on our show and opened up about her relationship of seven years, which she says “didn’t end on bad terms.”
“OK, so when we started our relationship, I was always on the road with him. Traveling, out of the country, on concerts, all that good stuff. But then, when it came to a point where I was home more often building my company Shoe Gummi or just working on my brand, and him being on the road, me being on the road less with him, we started to grow apart, and it just became an issue with, ‘You know what? What are we doing? What are we gonna do?’” she explained.
“And, we just had to come to the realization of look, let’s take this time and see if this split is going to bring it back full circle for us and honestly, that’s what we’re doing.”
Despite this, Shantel considers their split to be “a break.”
“But I feel like it’s important that we take the time to just do it. Me personally, I feel like it’s important for me, because if our relationship is gonna come back, it’s gonna come back. If this break is going to stop that, then it’s kind of inevitable, if that makes sense.”
