Woman Stabbed at L.A. Foot Locker During Nike Shoe Release

A woman was hospitalized after she allegedly got stabbed outside of a Foot Locker in Los Angeles amid the store releasing Nike Dunks.
In a video obtained by TMZ, two men and two women in line appear to get into a fight when one of the men wearing a blue hat appears to punch the woman wearing a black dress.
Then, the man without a cap allegedly takes out a knife and stabs the woman in blue jeans in the stomach area.
Though the outlet did not show the alleged stabbing, they described it as “brutal.”
Los Angeles police later told KABC that the alleged stabbing occurred around 2:40 p.m. in the 7700 block of Melrose Avenue outside the shoe store.
An eyewitness told TMZ that the two parties got into an argument, which sparked a physical fight leading to the alleged stabbing.
However, police told FOX 11 on Wednesday that the woman who was allegedly stabbed was not involved in the fight, but rather she was trying to help a child get out of the way.
Authorities added to KABC that the stabbing suspect is believed to be the victim’s partner, and they are calling the case an incident of domestic violence.
Per multiple outlets, the stabbing victim was transported to a hospital in unknown condition.
TMZ and KABC add that the male suspect has been arrested and is now in custody.
