Tiffany Haddish Wishes Ex Common a Happy Birthday!

Tiffany Haddish is celebrating Common’s 50th birthday months after their breakup.
Sunday on Instagram, the “Girls Trip” star posted a photo of her ex-boyfriend from the 2020 Grammys and wrote him a touching note for his special day.
“Happy Birthday to the King @common! One of the most handsome, dynamic and wonderful men I have ever Known,” the comedian said.
In what appears to be a nod to her ex, Haddish reused the same line that Common wrote for her last December while wishing her a happy 42nd birthday.
“May the most HIGH continue to bless and shine thru you. I Am wishing you Joy, Peace, Light, Love and fun on your born day!” the message read.
Haddish concluded, “I hope you are Happy for 50 more years. Love!”

In response, Common appeared to appreciate the reference, commenting, “I see what you did there,” with a laughing emoji.
Last November, a source told People that the star of “The Afterparty” and the “Like Water for Chocolate” rapper — who met on the set of the 2019 film “The Kitchen” — broke up after Haddish confirmed their relationship in an August 2020 interview with Steve-O.
“They are never in the same city together and both of them are just too busy for a serious relationship,” the insider said.
The MC later confirmed their split in a December interview with “Hollywood Unlocked with Jason Lee Uncensored.”
However, Common sang Haddish’s praises, calling her “one of the best people I’ve met in life” and “one of the best-hearted and most authentic and caring people that I’ve met in life.”
“That’s what made me love her and be in love with her and want to be in a relationship with her and grow with her,” he added, noting that their relationship was “heavy and loving” and “probably was the most mature relationship I have been in.”
While the two were able to “navigate” their relationship through the pandemic, things shifted when they “got back on the move.”
“It really didn’t allow for us to spend as much time and put as much energy into our relationship. I don’t think the love really dispersed... We weren’t feeding the relationship... Neither one of us is gonna stop. We both care about our crafts and what we do,” he explained.
“We care about love too and partnership, but I think the energy that has been put into our careers and continuing to want to do the things that we do for ourselves and for people... It was hard for me to balance all of that and keep the relationship fed.”
