‘Love & Hip Hop’ Alum Apple Watts Hospitalized with ‘Major Injuries’ After Crash

“Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” star Apple Watts is hospitalized with “major injuries” after she crashed while en route to Los Angeles from Las Vegas.
On Thursday, California Highway Patrol Officer Ramon Duran told People that the VH1 personality was traveling on northbound I-15 when her black Mercedes and a Ford F250 pickup truck collided, causing her car to flip multiple times and burst into flames.
After she was pulled to safety by a passenger in the pickup truck, she was life-flighted to University Medical Center in Nevada with “major injuries.”
As of this writing, it is not known what exactly caused the accident, or if drugs or alcohol played a role.
On Thursday, Apple’s sister confirmed the incident to The Shade Room and said the musician suffered a fractured skull, a broken spine, and a shattered arm.
At the time of the post, Apple’s sister said she was not responsive.
A family friend added to The Shade Room that it may be hard for Apple to do everyday functions such as walking and feeding herself due to her injuries.
Seasons 5 and 6 of “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” depicted Apple’s journey of working as a dancer to breaking into the music industry.
She has also appeared in several music videos, including Future’s “Wicked.”
