Tyler Perry Uses Madea’s Voice During Sex!

Tyler Perry doesn’t just voice the character of Madea onstage and on camera!
In a recent video for Vanity Fair, the actor/writer/director/producer was hooked to a lie detector test and had to answer questions about his storied career.
When the interviewer asked the “Don’t Look Up” star, “Do you ever accidentally use Madea’s voice in conversation?” he initially answered, “Never — no.”
However, after the mogul quickly glanced at the polygraph examiner and got a slight side-eye from the administrator, he said, “Sometimes — once — on occasion — okay, during sex.”
“Like, ‘Hellurrrr, er, er,'” Perry continued, seemingly mimicking Madea’s voice!

Needless to say, social media had A LOT of thoughts about Perry’s steamy confession!
“For some reason, this doesn't surprise me,” an Instagram user wrote.
“Yooo I fell down the stairs running to the comments!” a commenter said.
“How can you not love him,” another added.
First introduced in the 1999 play “I Can Do Bad All by Myself,” the character of Madea has been featured in other theater productions, as well as dozens of films, TV shows, and even a book.
Following the 2019 film “A Madea Family Funeral,” Perry, then 49, talked about retiring the character, telling The Hollywood Reporter, “I don’t want to be her age playing her, so it was time to shut it down and move on. I’ve got some other things I want to do, and in this next 50, I’m going to do something different.”
However, he ultimately reprised his role in Netflix’s “A Madea Homecoming,” which began streaming last month.
Earlier this month, Perry appeared on our show and discussed why he brought his cherished character to Netflix. WATCH, below:
