Anthony Anderson & Wife Divorcing for 2nd Time!

Anthony Anderson and his wife Alvina are divorcing once again.
On Monday, The Blast reported that Alvina filed for a dissolution of marriage in Los Angeles County Courts last Friday and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
People magazine also obtained the legal documents and report that Alvina cited "TBD" as the date of their separation.
In addition to seeking spousal support and attorney fees, Alvina has requested that property acquired during the marriage be treated as "community" property to be split between the parties.
This is noted in the documents as, "All gifts and inheritance, all assets, earnings, accumulations, and debts acquired by [Alvina] prior to the date of marriage and after the date of separation.”
Alvina previously filed for divorce from Anthony in 2015. At the time, she asked for spousal support, and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. She also listed April 1, 2014, as the date of separation.
However, in January 2017, Alvina rescinded her divorce petition.
Anthony and Alvina tied the knot in September 1999, and share two adult children: Nathan, 22, and Kyra, 26.
In a past interview with Parade, the “black-ish” actor detailed how he met Alvina while classmates at Howard University.
“My sophomore year, her freshman year, I knew a girl who lived in the apartment, so I went to knock on the door to invite her to this party that I and my buddies were having. My wife answered the door. I was like, ‘I was coming to invite Stacey to this party we’re having.’ Stacey didn’t show up, but my wife did — and we have been together ever since that night,” he recounted.
“And it was just me: I got there early, she didn’t see anybody else, she was, ‘All right, I’m gonna rock out with this dude!’ We got married on our 10-year anniversary.”
Speaking of Howard, during an interview on our show last month, Anthony revealed that he is returning to the historically Black college after withdrawing with 15 remaining credits. WATCH, below:
