Jesse Williams’ Child Support Payments to Ex Gets Reduced!

Jesse Williams’ child support payments to ex-wife Aryn Drake-Lee have been reduced.
Per court documents filed last Thursday and obtained by People on Friday, the former “Grey’s Anatomy” star’s monthly child support payments have been “temporarily modified” to $6,413.
In documents filed on December 20, 2021, just six months after Williams left the hit ABC drama show, Williams reported “a significant change of income.”
In fact, the actor — who is starring in the Broadway production of “Take Me Out” — reportedly earns $1,668 per week, according to TMZ.
Prior to the modification of his child support payments, People reports that Williams was paying Drake-Lee $40,000 in child support each month for their two kids: 8-year-old Sadie and 6-year-old Maceo.
Last month, TMZ reported that the former couple appeared in court, where a judge signed off on the new terms of their child custody agreement.
While they will share legal custody, the judge denied Drake-Lee’s request to reduce his physical time with their kids — a potential reference to the actor’s Broadway role.
The outlet says the judge granted Williams four consecutive days with the children in New York each month, while two of those days can be weekends.
Following his stint on Broadway, Williams and Drake-Lee will go back to court to modify their agreement.
In April 2017, Williams filed for divorce from Drake-Lee after they tied the knot in 2012.
Three years later, People reported that the pair finalized their divorce in October 2020.
