Chris Rock’s Younger Brother Wants to Fight Will Smith!

Kenny Rock hopes to box Will Smith for slapping his older brother Chris at the 2022 Academy Awards!
As reported by TMZ on Wednesday, Kenny has signed a deal with Celebrity Boxing founder Damon Feldman for a fight on June 11 at the Charles F. Dodge City Center in Pembroke Pines, Florida.
While Kenny currently does not have an opponent, he is hoping Will — who slapped Chris at the Oscars for making a joke about wife Jada Pinkett’s hair loss — will join him in the ring.
Earlier this month, Kenny gave his take on the slap heard around the world, telling the Los Angeles Times, “It eats at me watching it over and over again because you’ve seen a loved one being attacked and there’s nothing you can do about it.”
He continued, “My brother was no threat to him and you just had no respect for him at that moment. You just belittled him in front of millions of people that watch the show.”
Though Will later issued a public apology to Chris, Tony Rock — another one of Chris’ brothers — did not accept it.
“No,” Tony wrote in a March 30 tweet.

Last week, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ board of governors announced that Will has been banned from Oscars ceremonies and other Academy events for the next 10 years for his actions.
In response, Will said in a statement obtained by People, “I accept and respect the Academy’s decision.”
As for Chris, the comedian told audience members during his comedy set at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, California, on Friday night, that he refuses to talk about the incident unless he gets monetary compensation.
“I’m OK. I have a whole show, and I’m not talking about that until I get paid,” Chris was quoted as saying via the Desert Sun.
He also added, “Life is good. I got my hearing back.”
