‘RHOP’ Star Ashley Darby Splits with Husband!

After nearly eight years of marriage, Ashley Darby has split with husband Michael Darby.
On Tuesday, the star of “The Real Housewives of Potomac” released a statement to The Daily Dish announcing that she and the Australian businessman are separating.
“Almost eight years ago, when Michael and I said ‘I do,’ we anticipated sharing every single day together from that moment forward. Unfortunately, that is not our current reality. We have decided to separate,” the reality TV star wrote.
Though the Bravo personality acknowledged that “there will be many speculative views as to why we have made this decision,” she revealed that there is “no one reason” why they decided “to go our separate ways.”
"We are now both at very different stages in our lives and have different goals for our futures. We both want the other to achieve true happiness and fulfillment and feel that we cannot do this together,” she explained.
Despite their split, the two will remain amicable and will co-parent their two boys together, Dean Michael Darby, 2, and Dylan Matthew Darby, 1.
"While our romantic bond is broken, we will always love and respect each other. We also know that true happiness can only be achieved by continuing to work together and putting our hearts and souls into raising our two beautiful boys, Dean and Dylan,” she said.
“They will always feel loved and supported, for they were truly created out of love. As this is a personal matter for us, we appreciate everyone who has been a part of our journey and ask for your continued support by respecting us as we go through this emotional situation.”
Later that day, Ashley also addressed her split on Instagram, writing, “It’s been almost 8 magical years.”

As documented on “RHOP,” the two have had a tumultuous marriage, marred by rumors of infidelity.
Back in 2018, Michael was charged with sexual assault after allegedly grabbing and groping a cameraman while filming an episode of the show — allegations he has denied.
That October, the charges were dismissed due to insufficient evidence
“Our good name and reputation have been upheld through the abandonment of this case by the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s office,” Michael said in a statement at the time. “It is unfortunate that high-profile people are often sought out as targets, and in this situation, someone tried to take advantage of me.”
Last October, Ashley appeared on our show and revealed what it is like to have her marital troubles displayed on TV. WATCH, below:
