’90 Day Fiancé’ Star Victim of Alleged Murder Attempt from Boyfriend, Police Say

Caroline Schwitzky, a guest star on “90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?” allegedly survived a murder attempt from her boyfriend.
As reported by TMZ on Wednesday, witnesses told West Palm Beach, Florida, police that Caroline and Cole Goldberg, whom she says is her boyfriend of one year, got into a heated argument on a boat.
Per the police report obtained by TMZ, onlookers told authorities that Caroline tried to get away from Cole, but that he was holding and aggressively grabbing her to keep her onboard.
The alleged struggle went on for around 20 minutes before Caroline began punching Cole’s arms to free herself.
Police say they were told that Caroline eventually managed to break free and jump off the boat, swimming toward a different boat.
However, Cole allegedly jumped in after her, caught up to her in the water, and allegedly tried to push her under.
Witnesses add that Cole allegedly grabbed Caroline by the throat with both hands, and attempted to strangle her while holding her under water.
The report says several people from a nearby boat jumped in the water to pull Caroline up and away from Cole, and even used a stick to keep him from her.
According to a booking report from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office obtained by People, Cole was arrested just after midnight on Monday.
Cole was then charged with attempted homicide — murder first degree premeditated and battery — touch or strike.
His bond for the murder charge was set at $50,000, while the bond for the battery was $10,000. He was released Monday night, nearly 24 hours after his arrest. It is unclear if he has retained an attorney.
In 2016, Caroline appeared on the TLC show as “90 Day Fiancé” star Paola Mayfield’s talent agent.
